How did I miss this?

What rock have I been living under to miss hearing about the Wii Fit?  I guess I heard about it, but now they've kinda spiced it up enough to intrigue me.

And now Jillian from the Biggest Loser has her own game.  Which looks pretty cool.

So I was like, hmmm... maybe I should get one?  And I start looking at Walmart & Target online.  And you know what?  The darn thing is STILL sold out after all these months (years??) its been out!  Sigh!  Guess I'll keep my eye out for the Black Friday sales.

Rutt-Ro Raggy!

Okay... a valuable lesson learned.  If your at the gym, throwing around weights like a BIG BOY.  Pay Attention!!!!!!  Flirting with "hot sweaty gym guy" and playing with said BIG BOY weights is not a good plan.  One might end up with a smooshed finger.  Not that I would know anything about that.  Just sayin'!  I had a friend...

Okay darn it!  It was me!  But if you saw this guy, you would soooo know how it happened.  The verdict is still out whether I broke it or not.  But the WOs must go on!  And it may have won me some sympathy points.  And heck yeah I showed it to him.

Gotta work what your momma gave you.  And in my case she gave me the "klutz" gene.  Thanks mom!

Home from KY Muscle!

Well the KY Muscle was a blast!  It was hard a first being there and not competing.  But honestly I was so busy and having so much fun.  It was more fuel for the fire than anything.  Come Spring, watch out!

I did get to be a stage expediter and work in Julie's booth.  Which was cool.  And I learned alot about watching the judges and standing in good stage light.  I also have an idea of what I need my body to look like by Spring.  Grow muscles grow!  And golly will I have to be lean this time.  I hold all my fat where we don't pinch.

I also think I may get new shoes with  5" heel instead of the 4", and some bling on the front.  Dunno if my 2 pc will still work in Spring.  I sure hope so.  Now that the 1pc is gone from NPC figure, thats one last thing to worry about.  I'll hold onto mine just in case though.  And if worse comes to worse, I'll get a new 2 pc or maybe can have mine altered.  But it should be okay.

Diet... oh the grand diet.  I've struggled some with that.  Traveling makes it hard.  I've used all my cheats for the week already.  Which is totally stupid of me.  I think I just WANTED stuff, just because.  And I'm pretty burned out on eating the same darn thing over and over.  I need to find some recipes ASAP!

I'm also on the fence if I should cont. to write down all my foods.  I kinda need a break from it.  But in other ways, it was a good accountability tool & habit.

A long road.....

I got an e-mail from Julie today, that my pictures where up on her site and I'm being featured.  Here is the link: November Client Spotlight

I'm truly honored!

I could not have made it this far without her!  I'm so lucky to have such a great cheerleader!  And I can't wait to see what changes we can make next!

Here is a pic from Julie's site and thanks to her hubbie Rick for an awesome time at the photo shoot.  It really makes a girl feel beautiful to see great pics of their self and all their hard work!

Watch out NPC, I'll be back in 2009!!!!!!!  LOL!

OT: Did I mention I'm going to be a mommy again?

No... I'm NOT prego, hell I don't even have a boyfriend.  But I did meet another guy this weekend.  But anywho...

On the Monday following the KY Muscle, I'm flying to Birmingham, Alabama to pick up my new yorkie baby girl Aerabella.  Bella for short.  Isn't she a doll baby?

Angelo is not amused though.  LOL!

Clarity

Today, my spirits are up and I'm feeling more like myself.  I think I may have had a little case of the post-comp blues.  Its a hard thing to see yourself on show day at your personal best, then to have to put weight back on.

My perception of myself became very negative and I was fighting a personal war against the mirror and scale.  And pictures... wow, did I ever have a little melt down over those!  I remember looking at them in disgust and putting them in my bag, where they've been since Julie gave them to me.

This morning I wanted to look at them.  This time they brought alot different feeling.  I was in the best shape of my life.  But none the less, I was far from the perfect form the NPC is looking for (if the judges even know what that is, I'd be highly suprised!  lol!).  I see things I can make better, but damn!  I sure am trying to get there!  Where they hell is my participation ribbon?

In April I wouldn't have been caught dead in a pair of shorts!  Let alone bare my mid-section!!  WOW!  I remember how badly I just wanted to wear shorts to the gym and be okay with it.  And I met that goal!  Even though it wasn't something I wrote down to accomplish, it was something my heart had set as a milestone.

And as Julie keeps telling me, this is only the beginning of my journey, not the end.  (See Julie I do listen!  lol!  It just takes me time to process your words and see your right as usual!)  And why I'm on the subject.... people listen to your trainers.  It makes the process so much more successful and easier too!

Something else I wanted to mention... (I know... there's more!)

Someone asked me at the show if my family was coming to watch.  And I answered "no, but my friends are my family, and they will be there!"    I have been doubly blessed from my fitness journey.  Not only am I changing my body and soul, but I now met some of the truly nicest people and who I owe the world to, for giving me never ending support, to keep going.

So thanks to my Fitness Family!!!  You guys are the best!!!
